2.20.09 How many trantennas does it take…
to fill Walter’s belly?

The answer is eight trantennas and one trantenna dog. (Sorry for the messy job I did brightening up Seth and Wheat at the front of the bus.) We spent Friday eating many meals with Amy’s folks, getting the bus cleaned out, doing laundry, and getting Joe and Amy moved back in. I took this photo when we were about to pull out of Amy’s neighborhood to head on to some bus chores.
We’ve been having some trouble with our veggie filters collapsing on us after transferring only a few gallons of oil through them. We thought the secondary veggie fuel tank might have sludge collecting on the bottom that is getting sucked up and clogging the filters, so we emptied our secondary tank, and Dawn put on gloves and stuck her arm through the top of the tank to scrub the nasties off the bottom. Surprisingly, there weren’t many nasties down there, so we still have to resolve our filter issue. It’s no fun to change them all the time.
Then we went to our favorite restaurant to fill up on oil. We couldn’t get close enough to the tank to use our fast hose, so we used the slow one instead, and it took a couple of hours to get about fifty gallons. We pulled out of there around 4:30 in the morning and decided to find a place nearby for our full house to sleep.
