One of the brake drums in the back of the bus snapped tonight and we almost lost two tires.  We’re on the side of I-10 now, somewhere in the middle of west Texas.  A couple of the sheriff’s men stopped to see what we were up to.  They marveled at our situation and said it would be fine for us to stay the night here.  We’ll call for a tow truck in the morning…
